Anyone knows who this is?

The number is from a scam group who claim you are named in a legal action against you for defaulting on a payday loan. Names they use are Dawson & Associates, John Town, Deck Smith are a few.

They are definitely not from the United States and most of the time, you can barely understand the caller. Bad accent from either India or that region in a call center as you can hear others repeating the same information.

This Number is now on Craig's list....Someone commented on it so I looked it up and found this place...The person also commented on the "Bad" english also. So, Yes, I would stay away from calling this number. The poster also said that the person on the other end of the phone was asking for personal information for something that was posted under "Free Stuff" listings.

Got 6 calls in a row...they did not leave a message...time was 1:36pm 03/20/2013

It's a scam.....they guy said his name is Sam Johsnon and told me that he wanted to talk to my attorney
as I was going to service with court paper, for a loan with uscashnet that was in default. I don't have any loan with anybody. So I told him to go [***] himself and not to call me anymore unless he send me all the paperwork first......it's a scam...just ignore it
