Indian guy told me I had been filing my taxes incorrectly and they had sent me mail (he had my address) and if I didn't speak with him he would refer me to the police.  I said okay have the police come to my house

Reported I filled my taxes wrong.  I haven't filed yet but hearing this is a scam

IRS SCAM CALL

Called today claiming from IRS. I used very "colorful" language to point out that they are full of BS. BEWARE: IRS does not call, they send letters. If you indeed did file taxes wrong, you will receive a letter, not some phone call from some phony place. 99% of the time, those letters come from your local IRS office. Why the call from New York if I live in TN? Don't fall for it.

Caller called me 5 times in a row, Middle eastern chick telling me they were from the IRS investigation service about a legal matter, asking if I had been contacted by my local law enforcement and I said no. Then as she started to talk I told her you know where I am, If you want me come and get me I have ammo with your name on it! then hung up. She tried to call back but I blocked the number. Then I looked up the number online and found this site.
