@ lee, I got a call like that stating they were calling medicare aged people and wanted to verify my information. I said I was old but not that dumb, bye

Caller wanted to send me an additional Medicare Card he claimed I needed in addition to my main card. Asked if I was collecting Social Security. Asked to verify my address (which he could get from any phonebook search). He wanted to verify by giving him the name of my bank! I asked him why he needed a bank name and he said he did not need the account number just the bank name. I repeated my question; "Why?". He gave me someone else who did not have that much of an accent compared to him. He said the same thing and I said to call back later while I checked with Social Security and he hung up on me.

I also received a call on Oct 10 asking the same questions. I contacted the BBB, Bank and the Police.
