Police association of ny telemarketers

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. No message was left. I've never received a call from the 347 area code that didn't turn out to be a telemarketer.

After my answering machine message finished playing a man said "Hello" several times, he then identified him self as (so-and-so) of the police association of New York.
I do not answer/respond to any such unknown numbers or names or such!!

This unknown number called my house phone and I never answer calls from unknown numbers because it's usually a scammer.  Thanks to the other posters that confirmed this is just another scam police association donation call.  This number will be blocked.
