Scam.  Oh Grandpa, please get me out of jail.  Here is my case number, the DA will call you to send money.

A man called me from this number claiming to be my son in law.  He knew my son in law's full name, his mother's name, my daughter's name and our names, even our last name.  Claimed to have gotten into a car accident.  Didn't ask for any money but that's probably because I didn't give him the chance to.  I kept questioning him and when he couldn't answer some of my questions I hung up on him.  Scary though that he knew so much information.

No one spoke, but I usually don't engage with any call when I don't recognize it caller's identity. I just answer, hold the phone for a few seconds and then hang up.
