Woman with foreign (Indian?) voice left a voice mail saying - This is verbal notification in regards to enforcement action that has been started on your name, etc, etc. She said if I delay calling back I should have an attorney make the call, as it could results in a "big legal mess". I've had similar calls before, where they pretend they are the IRIS. This woman did not state the name of her organization, but I'm sure it's a boiler room in India trying to scare/scam people out of a few bucks.

IGNORE.  You are correct.  It is a thief in INDIA trying to steal your money.  The IRS mails letters if there is a problem.

Call this afternoon.  My experience was identical as Bruiser.  Probably the same women called me.  DEFINITELY A SCAM!  BOL!

Same Indian woman saying I'm in a legal mess. Wish something could be done about these calls.

Yep, got that call from India last night as well. Too bad the phone company can't close them down.
