I received a text for me or my attorney to call Mr Wilson from Law enforcement because I was under arrest. The number they called from was +1 (508) 232-4809.
I called the # they left for me to call, the man who.answered sounded Indian and kept asking my name and wouldn't tell me who or what company he worked for then hung up on me.
Looks like a scam of some sort..

Received a text from number 508-644-6158 stating to return a call to "PAUL WILSON from Law Enforcement Department" because there is a "Warrant of Arrest issued on your name..."  Unfortunately, it should be IN my name and not ON my name and they need me or my "retain attorney" to return the call as soon as possible. It would be a better scam if they could use proper grammar, but that's just me!

(347) 349-5384 was text to me saying warrent for my arrest and have an attorney call them.(508) 657-7759 was the number that text me and it said group text on the message....  Know that this has got to be a scam nobody would ever text you saying you have an arrest warrent for you. This has to be a scam. Probably about a "payday loan" crap. It was someone claiming to be a Paul wilson

For a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number. For tracfone & straight talk:

For text messages: forwarding any text message spam you get to the short code  “7726,” which spells “spam” on most phones, to alert your network operator to the abuse. ATT won't accept 7726 But they will accept BLOCK and return a message that the web site is blocked. forward the texts to 7726 or BLOCK, depending on your phone carrier.
