Sounded like a robot call with a woman's voice. Said she was from the IRS and there was a warrant for my arrest, and to return the call at number given. The IRS would NEVER call on the phone, they send official letters to you by mail if you're in trouble. This is a scam!!!

They just called me as well, not about a warrant. But said I needed to call reference a lawsuit against me!! Not calling. Another scam going around is they calling saying your pc is sending virus email and they want your IP address. YEA RIGHT!!!

Just got a call and said similar.
"That IRS is filing a lawsuit against you to get more information about this case file. Please call immediately on our department number is 347-349-4964. I repeat 347-349-4964. Thank you."

Received this call 5-6 times today in my voice mail. Same messages as noted in other descriptions about IRS lawsuit. Doubtful anyone legitimate would call repeatedly like this. Think they are desperate to get responses before they get shut down. SCAM

These idiots are preying on my 82 year old parents, threatening them with the IRS and Sheriff, and scaring them half to death. What do they use for a conscience???
