Text from this number regarding a van I posted for sale. They asked me to do vehicle background check through a website of http...area.checkit1st.club and send them a report to tiltongidgethx@yah00.Com and another message to send report to mendenhallemelyhpz@yah00.com. My post is on Craigslist for southwest MI.

Just received the same message, asking me to go get car history from area.checkit1st.club regarding a 1999 Pontiac GTP. What really throws me off is that the message said they were going to buy the car this weekend and just needed car history. My post is on Craigslist in Northern Michigan. There number is wireless caller from New York, Bronx.

What is strange is that the text is claiming they are going to buy the car without even needing to look at it. Just in need of a car history and gave me 2 different e-mail address's, conantrosellavvt@yahoo.com is the only one i got in a text. The 2 provided above from Sharna O. were not included. When I told the caller to come check it out first and then they could buy the 12$ car history report, they backed out. Something very fishy about this person and to give multiple e-mail address even furthers my suspicion of it being a scam.

Not strange, the car report company they want you to used is a sham set up by them to capture credit cards and other info.
