I received a text from the above phone number saying that I was randomly selected to received a Best Buy gift card for 1000.00.  I don't get it.  What's the purpose of sending such texts if they aren't valid?

I recieved a text saying that I was a random winner of a 1000 bbgift card.dont people have better things to do?
