He called me threating legal action, and leans, and jail time if i did not pay 900.00 plus dollars

Same as the rest --said they are US Treasury. I asked more questions and call dropped.  Coincidence?

These calls are getting earlier 8:44 a.m. And they are getting smarter. They didn't mention the IRS. Just an important legal matter. They now have a woman calling that does not have an accent and has reasonable grammar skills. The problem is she sounds like a child. "Call me back right now!" I don't even think there's anyone to contact to report these people. I recorded the message, but I don't know where to send it. Maybe if I owed money to someone, I might feel paranoid enough to be concerned. The scammer probably get a credit card number for people to "settle their debt" and that's how they are taken. So sad that scammers can do that to innocent people.

Received the exact same call from a Chris Walker. I asked for exact details on what he was calling about? Could not give details and hung up on me after I told him my attorney was listening too. The phone message is hilarious!

Left message about legal issue. Called them and they said I had past due taxes and owed money. Said they were with US Treasury, agent Harris. Which is all bull ****
