anyway - its all a scam and i wish there was a way to block these morons..

I just got a call from Sam Parker saying my windows is not working also and I told him to send me more information in the mail. I didn't give him address. I then asked him to give a number to call back at 347 227 6900.  Very weird and he also had thick accent.

this peter guy called my father stating there is a problem with his computer, my parents dont own a computer, therefore i would like to have these people found and stopped.  its a waist of time and energy especially for elderly..

Rec'd a call this evening from Russel 347-227-6900 www.service4windows.com w/heavy India accent claiming my computer was issuing Error messages from the Internet. Convinced me to let a technician connect to my computer to assist in removing virus undetected by my virus scan.  Tech started downloading info from one computer & was to call back when finished in 15 minutes.
Immediately called my computer guy, who said Windows doesn't call anyone, disconnect immediately. I did, now Internet not working at the house. Will take computer & router in for repair [?] tomorrow. Computer guy warns NEVER let anyone connect to my computer except him. Thought I might share my foolishness & his warning.

When I said I would not do as the heavily-accented caller wanted me to do (in order to verify that "hackers from Texas" were invading my computer with malware) I asked for a number to call back: This was the number given, plus ext. 137, name, Sam Parker.
