Not sure if this one is illegitimate or not. It was just odd enough to make me search the net.
It was a woman asking about a place that I had to rent. I have no place to rent, told her so expediently, and noticed that she was trying to maneuver for more conversation and I just said good-bye.
But since some scams listed from 347 area code dealt with things like this, I figured it might be worth noting for someone else.
