Left message. Obvious scam...idiots couldn't even use proper English or grammar...posing as IRS wanting to arrest me if I don't call their number to pay over the phone. [***].

Omg!! This happened to me on August 29, 2016. A recording was left that sounded 'official' enough to scare me to death! It said this:  This is the IRS. This is our final attempt to reach you. And order has been issued for your arrest. Then it said to please call back at 347-201-8771. (That was the main jist of it. I tried about 8 times to call back-- it went straight to voicemail.)  Finally...I called a friend who told me that the IRS will NEVER call 1st---they will mail you something if there are ever any issues. She told me to google the phone number---and this number immediately popped up on a number of websites---and it looks like she was right. I have helped others--especially elderly people--investigate and educate--on many different types of scams...but this time it was me...and I forgot all my advise and just panicked. Thank God for my friend's help (who I--ironically--helped when her widowed father was getting 'catfished'--scammed--on Facebook!) because in that frame of mind---I might have given them anything!

They say there from Irs and have a warrant for my arrest!!

Did you read the posts before yours and before you posted? Google IRS SCAM and stop fretting. It's a scam.

Total Scam. I R S will always send request in witing.  I got the message others mentioned on here.   Supposedly IRS has requested arrest warrant for fraud in my name (no reference named)
