got a text message stating that "this is to inform you that legal actions under section 9 of chapter 19c will be imposed on you by 11am tomorrow & we have to take you down into custody through police, call us right back on 347-960-6497 failing which we won't be responsible. Call us back immediately. Newyork crime bureau.

They threat me.     I will be arrested don t call this phone # again.

Camellia, it's one of the many scams running around ranging from fake debt collectors to IRS scammers.  Just block the number and don't worry about it.  In the future, NEVER answer calls from numbers or persons you don't recognize.  If they leave threatening messages, block the number.

They sent a text message saying that they will take legal actions against me and that I should call 347-960-6497.  Their posing as the Dept of Justice.  I replied saying that they are a scammer and that they will be reported.

This is indeed a scam.  Got same text message as other and looked up code.  Section 9 of chapter 19c has to do with investigation of abuse of disabled persons.
