Called attempting to scam me out of money that they said I owed...I do not owe anyone money in DC.

Called and first words we're this is the US government, I said great how can I assist you when you kill all the other noise in the background, They hung up.

This caller has called my number numerous times asking for someone else and for various reasons and when i say that person is not there they ask my name. I have replied you did not reach that person . Til i started reasearchn number
This last time I told them you reached an employee of the US Government and i know where u are calling from dead slilence and they hung up. And i am an employee so i wasnt lying.l  It is a scam my best advice is block the number on all your phones and report to your local police agency and phone company.
