Many years ago I put my brother down as a beneficiary on my job-benefit life-insurance. Soon afterward mail addressed to me but with his address began showing up at his house, about ten miles from where I live, same city. Even though I left that job a few years later, and no longer have that policy, and its been more than 10 years, he still gets mail addressed to me.
