We got a call from this number today at 3:30 pm and didn't answer. No voice mail message was left. The caller ID was MASSACHUSETTS. When I called back I heard a recording which stated "Hello, and thank you for calling. If you'd like to be placed on a do not call list for the number that called you, please press one now." Our caller ID is blocked by default on outgoing calls, so I didn't respond. Perhaps it was a political call, but it will be added to our call blocker.

This number called me again on 09/08/14 @ 1636 hours.  The woman mentioned something about a college survey.  I immediately told her I wasn't interested but she thought to argue with me, telling me my answers would be confidential, yadda, yadda.  I kept chanting "Not interested.  Do not call again," as I disconnected.  Seriously "survey people," if someone tells you they're not interested in doing a survey, it's pointless to argue with them.

This number which on the caller ID just said WOBURN which I picked up because I am trying to get rid of nuisance callers had an individual who asked for my son who I know is debt free. I asked what this was about but they said they would need to talk to my son personally. I decided to look up this number and by the messages above suspect that because he is 22 it must be a college survey. I will now see about having this on the DO NOT CALL LIST but just wanted to put out a warning if they ask for someone directly.

I am beginning to think that Do Not Call (DNC) is being misread by politicians as Democratic National Congress as I get calls from democratic candidates all the time.
