It was an unknown phone # so I didn't answer the call. I assumed it was some kind of scam.

Caller ID said "Bnk Crd Advocat" but it's the old scammers, Card Services looking to rip off poor and elderly people.  Third time they've called me this morning using two different names.  There's a special place in hell reserved for these scammers.

This company calls me daily and in the last few days 2-3 times per day. Trying to call them back or pressing 1 as an option to speak with someone doesn't work because as soon as you tell them to please take your number off their call list, they hang up on you.

AT&T could easily block these calls, but choose not to. after I complained to at&t I started getting about 10 calls a day, before complaining I had it down to maybe once or twice a day, so complaining to at&t is like buying tires from sears, they put them on and then the mechanic comes out and says I need new struts and only for $400. I pass on it and the new tires wear quickly on the inside, my old tire were just old , I take the car to a mechanic get a front end alignmrnt and new front tires, he said your struts are fine, sears just put your front end out of alignment, an old dirty trick by crooked mechanics.

according to Consumer Reports, the F.T.C. conducted a raid, and closed down one of these scammers boiler room operations that allegedly took in $18 million!  Yet they continue.  And the reason they continue is because it means BIG MONEY - obviously.  Do NOT
give these [***] ANY information, or cooperate with them in any way!  If this wasn't a criminal enterprise, the federal government wouldn't have raided them.
