lower your interest rate nonsense

Call came at 1:31 PM, claiming to be from Bank Card Advocates.  Recorded message first, saying respond #1 to find out more info (only choice).  I asked the representative a couple of ?'s about the offer, which would combine all the types of cards into a lower interest rate.  When I said, do me a favor, the call disconnected.    Have been getting quite a few of this type of call.  Suspect they are searching for someone to fall for their scheme.  The call supposedly came from a list they have from major credit card companies.

Have had the same experience, especially calling my land line number, which id shows is my phone.  Wish the FCC would have some way to reduce calls, etc.
