Unsolicited call claiming Louisiana Fraternal Order of Police. He asked for Mr. (my name). I told him that I was in the middle of something, and with out missing a beat he started in on his sales pitch as if he did not hear what I had said. I told him again that I was busy and don't call us, we'll call you and hung up. The Louisiana FROP's phone number is a 877 prefix.

He called me also, this is the 2nd call I got like this . Said he was from Baton Rouge,but this number isn't that area code.

Exact same scenario happened to me.

same thing happened to me... called- I listened to what he had to say.. told him I was not interested... hurried up and googled the phone number to see if there were prior scams by this number... saw the results... he asked me if I would be willing to make a lesser donation of $15.00... told him no and he said thank you for your time.

Waiting on a phone call from Hospice for my dying Dad.  Couldn't reach my phone in time to answer.  Little "CHICKEN [***]" don't answer either!!  Voice Mailbox is Full...........IMAGINE THAT!!
