A "real" woman wanted to sell auto insurance.  I say "real" because it sounded very realistic, it was laughing and had inflections in its voice, it even answered questions (after 2-4 seconds of silence, probably to process the commands) and asked questions with proper inflections in the voice.  If it weren't for the nuances in the speech that weren't quite right to an actual human being, the long wait time between my questions and its answers, and the occasional overlap in its voice, I would have thought it a real person.  This very bluntly violates at least two FCC regulations (no robot sales calls and no realistic fake voices that could trick potential clientele into thinking they're talking to a real person).  I called back to verify my hunch and, of course, it was a spoofed number.  They're using your area codes now.
