cold calling is completely legal, I have bought various products via cold calls and 9 times out of 10 are legit, its just narrow minded snobs that think its automatically a scam because its a cold call. get real people

Cold calling IS illegal if it is to a cell phone number or if that person has registered their number on the National  Do Not Call list. The only exception to that list is if you had dealing with that company in the past six months or if it is a non-profit.
