called on my tracfone cellphone. robocall saying they had been monitoring my credit card balances, at that time I hung up. 1. Tracfone  buy the minutes card, not a unlimited plan. 2. NO, they had not been monitoring my credit card balances as I always pay off balances and pay no interest. Scammers that prey on the elderly.

Trying a change of what I do when receiving bogus or unidentified calls.
I put a Telezapper in line and for it to work, you have to pick up the phone and say NOTHING for several seconds.
It emits a tone that tells the autodialer that your phone # is not a working number.

Scammers make money by talking to enough people to find a naive victim to run their con.  They also make money be selling valid phone numbers to other scammers.  They don't want to waste time calling numbers that are not working, so given some time this should seriously decrease the number of bogus phone calls I get.

4 numbers you posted this in?  And by the way, modern autodialers ignore that tone, as most reports here have confirmed.

Wanted to know if my computer was working properly . Argued with me when I stated I didn't have a computer. In a room with a lot of noise and people talking.

11:42AM on July 28,2016,received call from this number. Did not know caller ....Did Not take call...caller did not leave message...Scammer!
