This is a collection agengy called Account Portfolio, they buy old accounts and try to collect, even if they are over 7 years old, if you take a look at your credit report, you may see two balances with the same amount, one from the original company you owe and one from them.

this person calls my unlisted number several times daily.  my number is non published.  they ask for me by name.  when i call back, it's busy.

When I answered the phone, a recording said I had a collect call from Tre at the Onslow County Jail. I pushed 3 to reject the charges and the recording started over so I hung up.

Yeah we've gotten the same type of calls but have only answered once and he asked for my mom by name. I have no idea who it is or how his phone is always busy when i try calling back.
