What if they don't give you a court date? They go to court and then you get the Judgement by Default in the mail the next day after they have filed in the court?

Now my letter says "Unless we hear from you within 15 days from the date of this letter, we may recommend to our client that an Execution be forwarded to the Sheriff in Berkeley County and instructing the Sheriff to levy against your personal or real property to satisfy this judgement."

Caller ID says "Brook & Scott".  Seems to be a bill collector from 4+ years ago (not for me - for peeps who had this number before!).

They called to track down one of our family members - but they live in NC not ID.  Really seems odd since their office is in NC.

Why do Legal people get to break the do not call list. I get highly pissed when I have to stop what I'm doing to answer crap calls. And then Have the person ask me "Who are you?" You called me you idiot.
I used to have one of the air horns that use a can of air, I guess I'm going to get another one and start using it on callers I don't know. I guess this was a collection agency. If you check this also. Go to........ oh never mind you aren't worth it. Pond Scum yep pond scum.
