Called a few times - did not leave VM. In my opinion, unless it's a wrong # due to an error in dialing, a legitimate business should leave a message.

This is an Inusurance Office (Andy Albright's Office in Burlington, NC)--they troll for resumes for insurance agent candidates--Not forthcoming with the info and had to look them up online once the "hiring manager" (sounded like a kid) gave me his name.  If you can't be upfront about who you are and why you are calling then what else are they not telling you.

Thanks for this post.  I got the same kinda call this afternoon.  Didn't take it seriously because "Lauren" wouldn't give me the nam of the company she represented.  Supposed to have a phone interview tomorrow, but when the phone rings, I'll let it go to voice mail.
Sounded flakey to start with!

I have to agree with the previous posters.  My resume is on line. I have received several calls and emails, however, this is the first not to leave a message. Moreover, if they read my resume, they would know that I am getting out of the financial services industry... apparently, they don't read either.

I received a call from this number stating that Eric Larvie would like to have a phone interview with me tomorrow.  The lady on the other end said they are based out of North Carolina but have positions in Michigan available.  When I asked what type of business this was, she told me it was financial services. Contemplating whether I should let the call go to voicemail tomorrow??
