The number is FAKE. They make a local number show up on your caller ID so people they are calling are more likely to answer it. The number shows up as a Kernersville, NC number, but the caller was from California at a telemarketing call center. They have NO local NC office.
This is a telemarketing call from a company called Yodle - they sell leads for sales people for different types of businesses. They are calling around in the Triad area of NC -again- to sell leads to Realtors.
Calling mostly to new agents who don't know enough to stay away from these scams. Don't waste your money. You'll be $400-$1,200 in the hole before you realize you've wasted the money. It sounds great, but they can't name ONE successful agent for you to actually SPEAK with in the area that has used AND benefitted from this service. They told me it was against the law for them to do so - I asked them to tell me SPECIFICALLY WHAT law - they couldn't come up with one. There is NO such law. Liar, liar....buyer beware!!!
