Got a call from Investigator Smith asking about one of my family members.  This is a debt collection/repo type scam.  Also got a call months ago from investigator Jamieson.  They are looking for a family member stating he owes them alot of money and they are issuing a warrant for his arrest.  One, they can't tell me that he owes them anything, that violates the Federal Debt Collections Act, breach of privacy.  And they aren't real 'police' or 'investigators', just debt collections of some sort..

my uncle just called me with info from the same telephone number. also asking for info about my family members. NEVER give information unless YOU initiated the telephone call.

i'm very glad you posted this, because i was going to call them back.  thank you  lots, will keep this number on hand so i know NOT to give any info.
