December 4, 2013 - A man last night called my sister-in-law 4 times telling her he is her favorite nephew living in Mexico but is here in US on vacation. He wants to come and visit.  She is an elderly person and is in a state of panic because she does not understand who this caller is.  She is afraid.  Somebody put a stop to this please. In addition, her phone number is unlisted so how do these people get private numbers?

this person is sick and a scammer, he calls people, if they answer., how are you aunt? in spanish.  how he gets phone numbers, I do not know, my number is on the do not call list, it does not work, it is a waste of     time if anyone lists their numbers there.  

The DNC list doesn't protect you from criminals and scammers..  It is for telemarketers (sales & service) and will only keep the honest ones honest!  Criminals don't obey laws, thats why they are criminals.

This is a scammer, trying to scam you for money! Big difference there..  

Try googling your name and number, any place like spokeo that shows up, make them remove your information. Also make sure your facebook information isn't public if you have it.

This phone number has been bugging us since yesterday Dec. 23, 2013, when he called asking us that our cousin from Mexico was coming to visit us. He told us that next day he will arrive to Houston, TX, and he already arranged somebody to pick him up at the Airport. Next day He called us again telling us that he was in trouble with Customs & Inmmigration because ha carried 30,000 US Dollars, and he was detected. He was asking us to help him pay the fine or taxes on 20K Dlrs. that supposedly was the penalty. He asked me to send him 1000 Dlrs. to pay Customs and get his money back (the 10,000 plus the remaining 20,000) and he will pay me as soon as he will get to our home. I called his family at Mexico and it was a scam, because the real nephew was in Mexico. He called us again asking for the 1000 dollars to pay the fine, and I told him that he was a thieve, and wanted to pay him a money he was going to steal.
