Got a call from this random fella in my mother tongue, he began by saluting me as his relative and if i remembered him, he didnt provide name so i knew it was either a prank or a phishing scam call.
when confronted about the call the guy lost patience cursed and hung up.

LLamada de este numero me parecio como broma o fraude telefonico, el hombre se identifico como un pariente y si lo recordaba, sin darme nombre. cuando confrontado acerca de la llamada la persona se enojo y colgo.

Same thing here, i just hanged up he never called again....... Accent was Mexican so probably was a scam or fraud attempt most likely..........

Same here... We just got the call and we almost got into his bad ''F''  scam. Mexican accent and he wanted to get 10 % of 20 000 !! so 5000$ to get himself out of [***] because he got caught in Mexico since he didn't had the money to get to Montreal. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS IS REALLY NOT THE CASE... HE WANT'S YOUR MONEYYYYYY! GUYS....  He is trying to get the money with Western Union. He gets is business done with one of his friend pretending that he's his lawyer and that he also has problem for getting out of the country!  OLE [***]!!!

I got a call today and same as Anonimous he said he was a relative who was coming to visit and asked if I remembered him and I had no idea who it was then he said he was my oldest nephew so I stupidly mentioned the name of my oldest nephew so he went a long with it. After awhile he called back and said he got in a car accident and that he needed money or he would go to jail. So this sounded fishy so I contacted my family and Mexico and it turns out it wasn't my nephew calling. Beware!

Okay everyone I got a call today as well! He said that he was a relative and a family member of mine gave a name. So he went by the name. He said that he was in a accident and a little girl got hurt and the police was holding him and was wanting money to. He got mad and very aggressive. He was saying that he was going to jail and was just being a jerk. He asked for 15000 everyone please be aware. This person is really trying to get money and everyone needs to watch out for each other. This just happened and is happened around at 11:00am mountain time.
