Pretended to be a family member in need of emergency money. Told me family member names and asked for money

This a scam .. Prentend it to be a family member n asked for money..

This person told me he was a nephew from mexico, had a check for 3000.00 dollars told me to meet him at a bank of america to help him cash it. Then changed story to he just had an accident hit a little girl and a police was with him to verify the story and then they told me to send 16,000 pesos or my nephew will be going to jail.

resibi una llamada de un muchacho diciendo que era mi sobrino que venia a visitarme me pidio mi direccion y yo le crei  pero luego me bolvio a llamar diciendo que abia atropellado a alguien y queria que le mandara dinero luego que le dije que no tenia me insulto.

Este muchacho me hablo diciendo que se llamaba Efrain y que era mi primo se escuchaba igualito que un primo mio me dijo que habia atropellado a una nina y que ocupaba mi ayuda y pues le mande $1780. Primero me pido $830 y despues $950. Me paso segun al policia.
