The caller said he was my cousin from my dad's side. Didnt want to tell his first name...I hung up right away. Scam!

This dude claimed he was my cousin and that we should meet since we have never met in person. I was like sure, we'll meet in a public place. Next day he calls in the morning and tells me he's been in an accident and needs $700 to pay off the lady he got in an accident with. As soon as I told him I'm sorry I can't help you. He hung up.

Some guy called my mom's phone, which was strange since they knew her name and said they were in San Antonio coming to Rio and if she needed anything for the kids. When she asked who they were they said they were friends of the family, which is strange since we don't have relatives out of Illinois. They called her back a couple of times after the first call but she did not answer.

This # called my phone, speaking Spanish sounding to mexican say he was my cousin! I told him my cousins are not that mexican ... I told him  I was not from mexico and he hung up!!

This number called my sister pretending to me a cousin of ours, when she asked what cousin he told her he would give her clues, he asked what family we had in mexico and when my sister mention a aunt he right away said well then what cousin am i then... My sister give out a name of a cousin of ours from mexico which he pretended to be  him saying he was heading to our home from laredo. He asked to speak to my mother and when my mother asked him who he was he stated my cousins name saying he was my aunts son, what he didnt know was that my aunt didnt have a son. My mom right away confronted him and he hanged up. He later called several times back but only used vulgar language.
