Once voicemail came on, the caller hung up. I'm registered with the National Do Not Call; hopefully these get reported so they can be fined.(?)

They called my house phone and said "hi don't you recognize me?" My daughter answered it and said no the guy kept saying, "come on guess? How can you not know who I am?" And she guessed and confirmed it, then later said can I get my uncles number? She gave it to him and they later called and said that he had gotten in a car accident and needed $1,730 to let him go. He couldn't tell me his name, or who his mother was so we contacted my nephew. He lives in Tijuana and had no idea what was happening, it's a group of scammers. Apparently they did the same thing to him the week before claiming that his daughter was in some problems, but he doesn't have any children. Beware of numbers from here DON'T FALL FOR IT!!! I'm sure that there are some people out there who have no idea and just go with it. It was fishy from the start, he sounded weird on the phone that clued me in on this scam.

Calloed today 11-21-2012 at 5:30 PM. I didn't answer the phone. However, I am familiar with this people that call saying that a close relative has been in an accident and wrecked someone's car and unless money is wired via Wester Union the relative is going to be hurt badly. It is all a farse to part you with your money.

Received a call and the caller said"don't you know who this is?"spouse  asked in Spanish again and they said your cousin from your homeland .got disconnected and they called back about 15 minutes later and we didn't answer. They left no message.
