Robocall to business line about "my credit card" and wanting to reduce my finance charges. Ha, typical scam. Played around with this guy for a while feeding him info from a fake identify/credit card I generated at http://www.fakenamegenerator.com/ Was able to keep him busy for about 20 minutes or so chasing down fake credit card/personal information. Obviously they couldn't confirm the credit card/user, but giving them the "current balance" seemed to make them happy enough to continue the dialogue. Gave a company name of "Credit Card Services".
Now, here's the deal: They are going to "lower my interest rate" to 6.9% and only charge me $996 for the privilege of getting screwed by this (in three 'easy' payments of $199). Gave a callback number of 855-563-4437x822 - ask for Denise Wood, which is also listed on several scam boards (including sister site complaintwire.com).
They have been using the 855-563-4437 number for at least a year to scam people. Please report to the FTC, so that maybe enough complaints can get them shut down.
