This number calls my number 4-6 times a day, letting the phone ring 3-4 times and then hangs up.  I have answering machine never leaves a message.  My machine picks up on the 5th ring.  Have also received similar calls from 1-866 #, Private Caller, etc..  Is undoubtedly a credit card collection agency of some kind, because I recently just "blew one off", and told them to stick up their rears sideways, because they kept raising my APR.  By the way, I never missed a payment for over 7 years!!

Which credit card did you just blow off?  I'm getting the same calls and am trying to figure out who's tyring to hunt me down.

i keep getting back-to-back calls from this number as well (5 mins apart)  when i called back, it is Lowe's Visa Platinum.  don't own one of those, so i am assuming it is a solicitor call.

It is Lowe's Visa Platinum which is serviced by GE Money Bank.  They will call incessently every half hour from 8 in the morning until 8 at night.  When you call them back, you talk to somebody in India whom you can't even understand.  Even when you straighten out the problem, they continue to call you.

Calls 3 to 4 times a day and rings 2 to 3 times and hangs up.
