Lady asked for my wife (the name on phone account) who wasn't home.  She didn't want to say what the call was in refference to until i said i was her husband.  She claimed to be collecting on a student loan debt.  She said she had tried to call my wife on her cell phone (which wasn't the case) I gave her her number to "confirm it".  She ended up calling her right after I talked to her.  I got very little details from her, only scary threats of taking from our tax returns was was owed to them.  She claimed she was from ACT Account Control Technology.

Caller said his name was Brendan Marsh, called our office looking for someone who does not work here. We have someone by the same first name, he said that must be him. Said he was "doing business for him". He said it was personal and could not say what it was. We refused to assist him further.

Man called said his name was Brendan Martin. Said he was looking for someone I didn't know. Said she put down someone else's name as a reference. I asked how he got my number, he thought I  might be related to this other lady and got my name off the internet. He wouldn't give me information except he was handling some business for this person.

just got a call from this number i never picked up but the id said account contral nobody handles my accounts but me.

I received a call from this number. The guy identified himself as Brandon Martin. I repeatedly asked how he got my number considering he was calling for my boyfriends brother. That is a bit much to me considering I've never talked to his brother on my line.
