Did they say they were out of the country - in the military - etc. and they wanted someone trustworthy to rent the property? Was the rental price WAY below normal rates (utilities included)? Did they say wire a deposit via Western Union & they would send the keys? If so, there is a great possibility it is a SCAM!
Do a Google search of the address . It could be a home for sale & the seller has no idea someone is trying to rent it!!

no they didnt say any of that..but they did want want our bank account info right away and when my husband called them it was a google phone number?? He communicated thru text asking for a number to call to talk to someone and she steered around it and didnt give it to him...

oh and there isnt an address..we found the listing on craigslist
