Looking for an apartment in New York on craigslist, listing came up with this phone number… Asking me to send $700 before letting me see the house… We went back-and-forth a couple times by email… Once I told him I would not do that and wanted to get a realtor involved as a neutral party… I never heard from him again

We just emailed also and they requested God-Fearing people for one specific property only to receive another email with the same format but different property. They are also asking for a deposit.

I am also looking for an apartment in NYC and I've just received an email from a teem mose saying to send him 700 dollars and he'll send me keys to look at the place. ... same phone number. .what a scam
