got call from 3237447271 saying IRS. asking I need to pay to IRS and police will meet you. I said OK. She dropped the call. it seems IRS fake call

Got a call from the number 3237447271 claiming themselves IRS.  He was looking to speak with my husband and kind of rude "Where is he. I want him right away". This sounded me wired. Further he added, You are talking to some senior blah blah ### officer so mind your words. My reply was "I appreciate but all I can say that he is not here. Is there any other way I can help you". And in few seconds time I here -

Even I got a call with same number, seems to be fake call. Did you get any cal again.

I got a call from this number too. The lady said I have a warrant issued because of some tax problems I did in middle east.. LOL..The scary part was that she knew my birth date.

Same no called me and mentioned that I have a warrant issued etc because of remittance to Middle east/Asia.. I laughed and said I never do any such remittance to which she said that it's done in your name and u didn't pay the associated tax :) Instead of talking more I mentioned that I will go and speak with the local police dept. Later obviously I was informed that it was a fraud call.. But yes these guys do know your dt of birth and some address information as well(they knew my very old address).. Never get engaged with anyone on the call even if it's a genuine call, instead focus on meeting people in the office..
