This person sent me a text message from this number in response to a housing listing. He made an illegitimate sounding offer: will you do "rent-to-own"? I will sell your house for you, you get paid by me, buyer pays me. This is obviously some type of real estate fraud attempt. Funniest thing: He wrote in the text that his "direct line" number is 832-531-0417. That number is based in Texas, the spoofed number (323-621-3232) is supposedly based in California. Reported both numbers here.

I know better than to answer calls from numbers that I don't recognize, but I did. When I answered, a recording said the number that you are trying to reach is not available.
