Called me at 2:52 in the morning on November 5, 2015.  Claimed they were So Cal Edison.  Cannot wait to let them know that they have no business calling me at that time of night!  Told me my bill was ABOUT to become past due.

Called my house at 9:04 AM this morning, I didn't answer and they never left a message.  When I goggled the number, the only thing I found associated with it was something about background checks.

Called my land line phone at 9:03 AM (Nov. 03, 2014). The caller left a very short message:
"Regarding your account". Did not identify himself or the company he is representing.

I received a call on my work phone at 9:02AM on Jan. 19, 2015.  It was an automated message claiming to be SoCal Gas Company.  The recording proceeded to say that my account needed to be updated and identified me under the name of some unknown woman, followed by press '1' to speak to a representative and '2' if said person is not you.  I pressed '2' and proceeded to follow another keypad press to remove my number from the call list.
