I had several similar emails like this.  Always check your REAL PayPal account.

I have received an email from this number for an item I have for sale. Person states that they will only do transaction through Pay Pal account. Suspisious since you can do a money transfer through Pay Pal. When I checked out the information on Google it showed that there were various scams done through this number. The connection goes from an address in California to Nigeria. Address is Good Luck Tope, 84 Simpson St. Lagos California 23401.

You get a phone call. You get a text. They want to use Paypal. They insist. Sure, and here is a VERY quick way to get rid of these scammers. Want to use Paypal? Send me your Paypal account name & I'll send you a Paypal invoice. You want MY Paypal address? No need, after all you INSIST on using Paypal. We will. You can then check the address on Paypal's web site. You can also put the kettle on because you'll never hear from them again.
