Call from Credit Union saying that the Visa card has been temporarily deactivated, would be transferred to security department for reactivation. "NUMBER"? (WAY too nasty sounding for any financial institution) Not "Credit card number?" just "NUMBER". I'm making some calls to determine legitimacy right now, but this smells bad... Just a warning.

Same call as D. I received the call at 12:03 pm and it said it was from the credit union. You are right D. The 323-455-3365 number is a Sprint number and it is from Irving, California. I called my bank and they took the number and called me back and said it is a scam to get your info.

I got 3 calls from this number today, they did not leave a message, I called back got a voicemail.   Did you find out anything ?

Got the same message as D. a couple of hours ago... it sounded fake, so i just hanged up. I called back to see if someone would answer but it send me to a msg machine. Any info please post it.

Same thing just happened to me.  Got a call on my cell  from the same number with the same message about the Jefferson Parish credit union. I just hung up as I figured it was a scam.  Why doesn't Sprint do anything about this??????
