Number called me on my cell phone today, first it was a recording offering me a free satellite dish.  I pressed 1 to go to the human, and she asked me if i was interested in receiving a free satellite dish.  I said "No, this is my cell phone, take me off your list" and at some point during that sentence she just hung up - no idea who this was from

who are these people and how do they get your number?

Also got this call.  Really annoying, since I'm on a cell phone.
