This number called two times today. The second time a man who had an Indian accent left a voice mail. He said my sister's airline reservation was going to be cancelled because she did not have enough funds on her credit card to pay for the flight. He requested a call back and did not give a phone number. This was very disturbing as my sister did have an airline reservation but our sister had paid for it!
I googled the number and it belongs to MCIMetroAccess Transmission Services located in Los Angeles. When I went to their web site, there was no description of what these services are. This is a new scam.

They represented themselves as Southwest Airlines. Routed me to DFW not LOVE Field out of Dallas. Charged $103 more than the normal cost, never sent the actual Airline I would fly, flight number or receipt, didn't mention extra baggage fees, and thanks to DART Rail serving the whole DFW metroplex, saved my [***] another $50 for a cab. This is a rouge prepatory
operation. Consumer beware. Be VERY AWARE >

This number is a spooled number.  The number you see on Caller ID is not in reality where the call is coming from.   This is used by My Flight Search.com.  This is a scam company acting as a travel agency.  They make charges on individual's credit cards.  The charges are then run through the Airline Reporting Corporation; consequently, the credit card companies think it is a legitimate charge.  The customer will only be laughed at when they call My Flight Search because they know the customer can't do anything.  How much longer is the web business going to be allowed to steal hundreds of dollars from innocent consumers?
