Called early this morning and said my computer was being hacked by bad people. These bad people were sending my computer bad software that allowed them access to my computer and my accounts. He said his name was "Eric". He asked me to get a run window on the computer and type in "www.supportme.com". I Googled it instead and it lead me to Supportme.pro which stated that there were scams being run off of their name software. I told him that the supportme was a scam and he told me that the hackers were in my computers telling me that so I would not get my computer fixed. I asked him where he was calling me from and he said California. I asked what city and he said something and I asked him to spell it and there was silence on the phone. I repeated the question to spell it and more silence and then he hung up. The original call was "out of area". He called back about 20 minutes later from this number and my husband answered and question him and he said his name was George from Walnut, California. My husband said I was not available and the guy tried to tell my husband about our computers being hacked. My husband said can you hold on while I Google Microsoft Technical Department. This time he hung up on my husband.
