do not call me again

A guy probably from India called and said "I'm from Microsoft and you have an error on your computer" That is totally BS as I'm an IT person and Microsoft NEVER calls customers about any error. They (scammers of course) try to sell you something or try to get access to your computer. This is a known scam! Be aware and don't give them any information or let you type something in on your computer.
Phone-number seems to come from Los Angeles according to my phone display.

just  got the same call as above. I was rather short with the  [***] and told him to stop the BS scam calls. "Sir Sir this is not a scam"  -- Thats what all the scammers say I screamed at him -- he hung on me for a change.  I work in Bangalore every other year for a few months and have a pretty good Indian that I have been asked to use  when speaking to large meetings. Sometimes when I get these calls I tell them if they are  B'lore they should go to Koshy's ( coffee house) and chill. got some  funny replies and stutters.

Indian sounding guy said I have a virus on my computer and that he detected it from his Microsoft headquarters. (I already knew this is BS). Also, he mentioned how "deadly" (as he described it) it would be to my computer and that I needed to get it fixed immediately.  
Being that this is a business I'm receiving the call from, I ask several straight to the point questions:
"who are you again and WHY do you want to help me?"
"what are you going to CHARGE me?"
he started to tell me to turn on my computer (really he started instructing me what to do without any permission).
when I asked, "WHICH ONE? THIS IS A BUSINESS AND I HAVE OVER 10 COMPUTERS"
he said, "what??? (stutters),, this this, is a business??" then hangs up.
I have caller ID and called back the number, it doesn't work when you try calling them.

COMPLETE SCAM.

Got this call. Indian sounding guy. Said my windows computer has a deadly virus. Said he was calling from windows. Knew it was a scam especially since I only have apple products.
