Calls and says they are john smith but has very thick middle eastern accent. Says i have outstanding payday loan  ( i dont) and they are pressing criminal charges against me if i do not pay today. they refused to provide me with written documents. They also say if i pay today by western union they will drop the charges. If you get a call like this ignore it. An "attorney" cannot press criminal charges. They are a scam service tryign to scare you by threating you with jail. When they told me the police would be here in a minute i told them OMG they are already here ill tell them you said hi ( i work at a police department). They still call every 3 or four days though.

i got a call from this number telling me they where going to send cop to my job to arrest me for a payday loan i dont owe an wanted me to pay it with a pre-paid card so it cant be traced when i said the word lawyer he got pissed this is a scam i was very close to paying it very close because i did take a loan for advance america 10 yrs ago but i knew i close that account out so i called advance america they have no record of me saying i owe them anything

omg well i do owe for a payday loan and got a call but his name is john anderson threating  me that my hubby was gonna be arrested.. ridiculous

Same thing happened to me.  I called them back numerous times for them to provide me with an account number, company who is collecting etc and they couldn't give me that info.  I called from my business line and stated that I was an attorney and they hung up on me.  SCAM
