The name that comes up on my caller ID is Dem Natl Com, what ever that is... A California area code. They are a pain in the butt...calling every day and close to 9 pm at that. Some times I answer their call just to hang right up, which only keeps them from calling back until the next day.

I block them too, but I'd LOVE to know who the scum bags are!!!!  And what the heck to purpose of all this is!!!!

I called them back and it reached the Democratic Committee...!!

This number answers as The Democratic National Committtee, probably harmless.

This number belongs to Donor Services Group.  They are based in Los Angeles and help non-profits with fund-raising.  Non-profit telephone solicitation is not covered by the "opt-out" policy.  If you answer and nobody's on the line, chances are they've already moved on to tne next name that the automatic dialer pulls up.  If you pick up right away, you'll probably catch a real person asking for donations for a legitimate non-profit that has contracted with Donor Services Group as part of their fund,raising strategy.  Don't take it personally.  They have to kiss a lot of frogs, so to speak, and may miss a few real princes (and princesses) like us.
